Our Practice Facilities
Take your golf game to the next level at El Conquistador Golf’s practice facilities. Perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike, our facilities include a full-length driving range, a large practice putting green, and a short game area with a dedicated practice bunker. It’s everything you need to sharpen every aspect of your game. Public range balls and practice are included with your paid greens fee. Use of the members-only side of our driving range is included with our Golf Membership.
For those looking to dedicate the whole day to improvement, daily range passes are available for $25 per person, with youth passes for ages 17 and under at $10. Monthly passes are just $100 per person, and annual passes are $699 per person. You can purchase these right in the golf shop.

- Feb–Mar: 6:30am – 5:30pm
- Apr–Aug: 6:00am – 5:30pm
- Sep: 6:30am – 5:00pm
- Oct: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Nov–Jan: 7:30am – 5:00pm
*Closed every Wednesday at 2pm for maintenance.
Don’t have your clubs? No problem. El Conquistador Golf offers club rentals, including Men’s and Ladies’ sets for right and left-handed players, with stiff and regular shafts. Junior sets are also available. Call the Golf Shop at 520-544-1801 to reserve your set or learn more.

Meet Our Instructors
Troy Jewkes – Head Golf Professional
Troy has been teaching golf for 18 years. Troy brings experience and enthusiasm, while teaching players of all ages and abilities, including junior golfers. Troy will not “change” your swing. Instead, he will work with his students to help golfers unlock their abilities. Troy enjoys all sports and spends time with his children in Oro Valley.
Josh Miller – Assistant Golf Professional
I’m dedicated to helping golfers develop their game through personalized coaching, clear instruction, and a positive learning experience. Whether you’re new to golf or looking to sharpen your skills, I strive to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable.
Hourly Rate for Adults – $75 Half Hour Rate for Adults – $35

Nathan Nixon – Assistant Golf Professional
Specializing in Player Development. PGA Jr League Head Coach. Over 30 years teaching experience with All Ages levels and abilities.

Evan Oconnor – Assistant Golf Professional
Committed to sharing my passion for the game with
players aspiring to extract better scores and the most joy
from the game. With targeted instruction we will identify
what weaknesses one might have, as well as identifying
strengths to sharpen. Focused on finding solutions for
each individual player, regardless of age or playing ability.
Golf is just as much physical as it is mental. My lessons
will include decision making processes and creating mental
focus, but most importantly having FUN.
Offers individual lessons or lesson packs in 5 and 10.
Lesson Rates- $50 for half an hour.
$80 for a full hour.
Junior Rates- $35 for half an hour.
$65 for a full hour.
